We use transitions in our opening sequence for continuity and to show a change in scene, these can help the viewer get into the film. As well as crerating tension and confusin with fast paced editing involving fast cuts.
With our footage we will use mostly cuts to help link each shot as well as at the end of each scene to split the sequence up.
The transitions we use are very important to keep the audience interested in our film, we have filmed alot of our shots separately instead of continuously, because of this we need to think of a better transisition then a cut because the sequence looks to jumpy whereas we want it to be smooth.
The only time we need the sequence to look uneasy is when we have the multiple jump cuts during the flashback scene.
Hopefully we will be able to create confusion as well as a storyline worth following through the editing to keep the audience intersted and wanting to watch the rest of the film.
